BA International Relations Career Paths

POLIS graduates thrive in the increasingly competitive graduate job market. We have alumni working in the media, the Civil Service, in political research and analysis, within international organisations, such as the UN and the World Bank, and non-governmental organisations in the UK or overseas. Life after Leeds

The School runs a "Life after Leeds" seminar series, especially aimed at showcasing the wide range of professional work undertaken by former POLIS undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Furthermore, POLIS, in conjunction with the Careers Centre, has organised a series of seminars for undergraduate students to help them recognise their full potential and make themselves more 'marketable' to potential employers.

If you are still unsure of what you are able to achieve with a degree from POLIS, the University of Leeds Careers Centre - one of the largest and best-resourced centres in the country - offers a comprehensive programme of events for students, and will give you information, advice and guidance on career planning, work experience, what employers want from you and starting a business.
