How to apply

All taught courses begin in September. There are no deadlines for making an application for a place, although it is advisable to apply before the end of July.

Apply Online

If you intend to apply for funding, you should submit an application for a place at least one month before any specific scholarship deadline.

All applications are considered by the School, who will make a decision based on degree results, references, other relevant information and, in some cases, an interview. If you do not know your degree result before you apply, we may make you an offer conditional on your final results.

We need a set of supporting documents with your application:

  • Two references (the taught postgraduate application form requires that you submit names and contact details for two referees in support of your application but please be aware that it is your responsibility to contact them to request references. POLIS does not contact referees on your behalf)
  • A copy of your degree certificate, or equivalent
  • A transcript of your degree results
  • A copy of your IELTS/TOEFL results, if applicable

The online application site gives instructions on how to scan and upload these with your application, or they can be scanned and emailed directly to this email address. Your referees can also email references directly to the same address if they prefer.

Applicants who have difficulty accessing the online application form should email Taught Postgraduate Admissions
