What made you decide to do this MA programme?
I decided on this programme because of the unique combination of EU and Development Studies.

What made you decide to study in the UK?
Because of the language and also the prestige to have it on my CV.

Where did you study for your undergraduate degree?
France and Cameroon

Why did you choose to study at POLIS and at Leeds?
When I found Leeds it was exactly what I was looking to do but also because the fees were cheaper than in London, which was originally my first choice, it was a bonus!

What did you enjoy most about the course?
The seminars, debates and some lectures. But also the availability of most of our tutors.

What would you say about the facilities in the School and at the University in general?
What amazed me the most was the libraries, full of books that you could never imagine you will find, the library online as well really useful : simply brilliant!

How did you find living and studying in the UK compared to back in your home country?
Miles away different. I come from Cameroon in Africa which is obviously a poor country so the educational system cannot be compare to England. Here I have been able to have access to computers, free internet, a good library, a refectory, a good number of clusters open 24hours, and even find a part time job…all of these things are luxuries in my country. Great experience!!

What would you say to anyone thinking of applying to your course?
It will be very interesting but it will more worthy to do it if he/she makes sure that he/she does in internship during the course in order to put into practice what he/she will learn.
