‘Britain still thinks it’s a great power – but it isn’t’ says Dr Honeyman

An article by Dr Victoria Honeyman argues that the situation in Syria demonstrates that Britain is no longer a world power.

The article originally written for independent news site The Conversation, was recently republished with permission by the Australian Institute for International Affairs. In the article Dr Honeyman comments:  

[T]here is clearly already some recognition of the limitations of Britain’s influence overseas. The plan for intervention in Syria is evidence of that.”
