BBC News (30/01/2013) interview Dr Judi Atkins about her research looking at how anecdotes are used in party conference speeches.

Dr Judi Atkins is interviewed by Justin Parkinson for a BBC News  article about the use of anecdotes in party conference speeches. The article references the study by Judi and Alan Finlayson of the University of East Anglia which looks at how many "anecdotes" - stories about their own lives or a re-telling of those put about by people they have encountered - are used in party conference speeches.
