POLIS was well represented at the first ever learning and teaching innovations poster session at the British International Studies Association (BISA) conference in Leicester.

Recent POLIS graduate Dora Meade and current POLIS student Jack Smith inspired delegates with an explanation as to how the innovative student led discussion fora developed in POLIS, such as PASS and TAT, work.

Delegates were very impressed by both Dora and Jack's enthusiasm and commitment to the scheme. Having undergraduate students or even recent graduates presenting posters at academic conferences is extremely rare-so well done to both of them.

Dr Simon Lightfoot highlighted the uses of podcasts that he and Dr Jason Ralph developed as part of their C-SAP project. He also gave a practical demonstration to show how easy the technology is to use.

They were joined by colleagues from the Universities of Hull, Lincoln and Birmingham.
