Human Rights Week: Is the Responsibility to Protect Dead?

The topic of the state's responsibility to protect; where this concept originated from, and what it means in a legislative sense today, will be discussed with reference to the Syrian conflict.

This will then be followed by a debate (facilitated the Model United Nations), about Syria and what course of action, if any, can be taken.
