Yorkshire African Studies meeting: South African politics and society in the ANC’s centenary year

The Yorkshire African Studies Network, in collaboration with Review of African Political Economy, with LUCAS (Centre for African Studies at Leeds), and with the conferences and events office at the university, is delighted to anounce the next Yorkshire African Studies meeting, an all day workshop entitled:
 
South African politics and society in the ANC’s centenary year
 
This has been arranged by Dr Alex Beresford, Lecturer in the Politics of African Development, in the School of Politics and International Studies, University of Leeds.
 
Please note: Due to limited space booking is essential. Priority will be given to postgraduate students and academic staff in the region (Yorkshire/north of England).

There is no charge for this event, and lunch and tea and coffee will be available free of charge. Subject to presentation of receipts, we are also able to reimburse bus or train travel for postgraduate students based at other universities in Yorkshire travelling to Leeds (and/or for taxi or travel by car if you have additional needs such as a disability).
