The Global Development research group have organised a series of seminars with guest speakers for 2012'13.

The series is titled: 'Global Crisis and the Developing World'

The seminars are open to staff and students from across the University – all are welcome.

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Rosaleen Duffy (University of Kent) who will be presenting on 'Capturing and Entraining Nature: elephant tourism in the context of neoliberal crisis'.

Rosaleen takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding conservation drawing on international politics, geography and sociology.
