The SLAS 2009 Annual Conference is being held on the University of Leeds main campus which is less than a mile from the city centre on Woodhouse Lane, the A660.
The majority of the conference activities will be held in and close by the Parkinson Building, which is the main entrance to the university, and due to its landmark status, is easy to find.
Bus numbers 1, 92, and 95 leave from Infirmary Street, near the city railway station, to the University. The main entrance to the University is on Woodhouse Lane, adjacent to Parkinson Building, a large white stone building with a tall clock tower and steps to the front. There is a taxi rank by the main entrance.
Car parking on campus (subject to availability) is £5.00 per day, access via the main entrance. Leeds/Bradford airport is ten miles away. If you take a taxi to the University, ask to be dropped off at 'Parkinson Steps', which is the main entrance to the Parkinson building, where the conference registration and help desk is located.
Have a safe journey, we look forward to seeing you on the day!
Registration and help desk for the conference is in Parkinson Court located in the Parkinson Building on the main campus of the University and will be open from 12pm on Thursday 26th March.
