Research
Research into global development at the Centre for Global Development concentrates upon the issues of entitlements, rights, responses and resistance in the study of global poverty and inequality.
Our internationally-renowned academics represent a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds and research expertise. A major strength of this research work is its inter-disciplinary nature; academics from across the University employ their specialist knowledge to research work in this area.
We undertake research, advisory and consultancy work in many specialist fields. From rural livelihoods, gender and land reform to resource distribution, religion and community financial services, our global development and justice research spans the social, economic, political, cultural, financial and environmental aspects of development issues and development policy.
